Go International. With MHMK’s 6+1 programme.

With MHMK’s 6+1 programme, our students study in Germany for six semesters and at one of our worldwide partner universities for one semester. The study abroad programme is currently on offer for the Bachelor’s programmes Media Management and Media and Communication Design. Individual solutions are possible for students of Film and Television and of Journalism.

The semester abroad is of course integrated into the MHMK programme. At our partner universities, our students are taught according to the MHMK curriculum and sit examinations which are supported by our Examinations Office. They can thus gain overseas experience without losing a semester.

The period of overseas study is organized jointly by the students and the MHMK International Office, which is always available to answer questions during the semester abroad. It goes without saying that the German professors also follow their students’ experiences abroad closely. We have a close-knit network of relationships with partner universities; we know each other and work together on research projects (see also: 5CU, Five-Continental-Universities).
