The capital city is not just one of the most exciting party strips in Germany; it is also one of its greenest cities. The bars and clubs in Mitte, Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg and in Prenzlauer Berg offer something for everyone. “The day after” you can breakfast into the afternoon or relax at one of the nearby lakes or in the verdant zoological gardens in all seasons.The wide range of cultural events makes it difficult to decide. A multi-facetted choice of museums can be found on Museum Island. Theatre and opera, well-known musicals and shows in Friedrichsstadtpalast are popular events. Pop/Rock and jazz concerts are held during the summer months in the Waldbühne and Olympic Stadium. The arrival of O2-World means Berlin now has a new location for ice-hockey, basketball and concerts.
