Welcome to the Cologne campus

Cologne is one of Germany’s biggest centres for media and design. And the Cologne campus of MHMK, Macromedia University for Media and Communication (University of Applied Sciences), is right in the middle of it. At two locations in Cologne, Olivandenhof and Brüderstraße, we train the new generation of media professionals for film and television, design, journalism, and media management. In every Bachelor’s programme our students can specialize further by choosing a field of concentration; these include design management, brand communication and advertising, sports and event management. At the Cologne campus, however, our students not only learn theory and fundamental knowledge; they also explore the whole spectrum of Cologne’s media industry with professors, guest speakers and cooperation partners from study projects and from the MHMK Career Service Cologne.
