Living in Cologne
The Cologne campus is located in Cologne city centre, about 100 metres from the central “Neumarkt” where the vibrant pedestrian/shopping zone “Schildergasse” begins. The campus is easily reached by public transport from all parts of the city: It is only a 3-minute journey by tram or underground and 15 minutes on foot from Central Station.
In addition to the central parts of the city – Altstadt and Neustadt - student life takes place mainly around the university grounds, that is, in Sülz, the Zülpicher Quarter and the Belgian Quarter.
On Saturdays and Wednesdays, the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger (KStA) advertises flats to rent. But be quick – many flats are snapped up fast.
