With our Bachelor’s programmes, you’ll be stepping straight into the media industry.

The Bachelor’s degree courses Media Management, Media and Communication Design, Film and Television, and Journalism cover the whole spectrum of media, ranging from print to Internet, television to feature films, design to animation and also the management and marketing of media products.The courses taught in German are supplemented by the internationally-oriented English-language programme Media and Communication Management.

The teaching programme alternates between theoretical lectures and practical project work. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own educational career at an early stage. From the outset, they are given the opportunity to engage with leading media figures who are linked with MHMK as guest lecturers and project sponsors.

The 6+1 programme: in the Media Management and Media and Communication Design programmes we offer our students an integrated semester abroad at one of our international partner universities. All Bachelor’s programmes also include a one-semester internship, in most cases a chance to get to know one’s future employer.
