Media Design
To create the interface between a person and a message
Media designers are in operation everywhere contents and messages take form – with colour, surface, room, material, light, movement and sound.
With a grounding in the history of art, semiotics and artistic skills, students learn image languages and typography, digital image processing and 3D-animation ,acquiring knowledge of the appropriate contexts from image journalism, info graphics and complete corporate design.
On this basis they can realise their own design projects while working hypermedial as well as
cross medial .They design posters, logos and websites. They make dramaturgically drawn up storyboards and develop their own, individual style The art is to learn to think like a service provider and to create media according to the demands of the corresponding customers and target groups. Students rely on perception studies, impact studies and the field of design research.
