Inventing the future.

Thanks to the globalization and digitalization of the media, the music market is faced with radically altered conditions. The music industry desperately needs new ideas and innovations. So it’s no wonder that the demand for professional music managers is booming. Good music managers combine creative qualities with goal-focused, entrepreneurial actions. Their main emphasis is on the strategic thinking and management required to carry out projects. Whether it be a music production, the promotion of an artist, a series of concerts or a festival, whether it be classical, rock or pop – music managers are always in the midst of the action.

In ‘Music Management’ you will gain all the necessary qualifications to manage concerts, artists and bands professionally and successfully. You will learn to think conceptually and act operatively. The course contents include profound knowledge of target groups and of the industry, contract law and copyright, brand development and marketing in the music business, and the sociology and psychology of music; it also covers the history of music, the management of bands and ensembles, and technical knowledge about everything from light and sound to studio technology. Our projects cover all the genres in the music market. Depending on your personal interests, you can choose what area to focus on: pop, rock, jazz, classical, or even hit songs. After all, promoting artists and music productions for a wide range of applications and target groups requires not just specialist knowledge, but also a high degree of personal identification and commitment.
