Berlin + Accomodation

With an area of 891 square kilometres, Berlin is nine times bigger than Paris, and with 1,700 bridges has even more than Venice. 108.500 events with 8.26 million participants were arranged here last year. Berlin is the city of superlatives. There are more museums than days of rain in the German capital Berlin offeres the longest open air gallery in the world, as well as the largest department store in Europe and the highest building in Germany. During your stay for the EUPRERA spring symposium, you will also have the opportunity to see a lot of the city – even places you normally cannot get to. To find out more, please see our program or visit the official tourism portal of the city at www.visitberlin.de.

Participants can already make their hotel reservations today. We recommend the “Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West“, from where all the conference locations can be reached by public transportation within 10-15 minutes. The hotel, opened just one year ago, is situated near the famous “Kudamm“. There are still 25 rooms available for participants for the period from February 16th to 19th, 2012 (or, if desired, part of this period). The rooms can be booked until January 15th, 2012 for a price of €69 per night, with a surcharge of €10 per night for a second person in the same room. These booking conditions apply for bookings made “IWT“. You can find more information here.

All extended abstract submissions have to be made via an online conference tool that also gives information on the status of the reviewing process. It can be accessed from December 20th, 2012 by clicking here.
