For the second time, Macromedia University had the pleasure of supporting students’ creative projects with the help of NVIDIA and its high-performance hardware.
This collaboration supported two film projects: an emotional animation about the adventure of growing older, and a short film about two estranged siblings finding their way back to each other. Students from the Filmmaking and Design/Animation programs received support through state-of-the-art technology in the form of laptops, which they could use freely. The provided hardware proved especially valuable during the compute- and graphics-intensive post-production phase, as well as for animation and the creation of visual effects. Going forward, other students will also have access to this powerful equipment!
The ongoing cooperation with Nvidia is proof of our strong industry connectivity. We look forward to enhancing this cooperation further by including other study programs for our bachelor’s and master’s students in future projects and initiatives says the Munich Study Dean Prof. Mohamed Badr.
