Kristin Hahn studied European Ethnology and Educational Sciences at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the Humboldt University in Berlin. In 2011/2012 she completed the Postgraduate Research Program at Middlesex University in London. She taught at the Institute for European Ethnology at the Humboldt University in Berlin, where she completed her doctorate at the beginning of 2019.
