MGC and Macromedia: Practical Education on the Green

Macromedia University is proud to showcase its successful collaboration with Munich Golf Club (MGC). Under the academic leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Badr, Dr. Nanette Willberg, and David Roth, students have developed innovative solutions tailored to the real challenges of golf club management. This initial joint project attracted a large group of interdisciplinary bachelor’s students from fields such as design and management for the winter semester 2024/25.

Alexander Sälzler, CEO of MGC, was impressed by the outcomes: “The strategic proposals from the students have opened up new ways for us to future-proof our club. Their work was not only innovative but also immediately applicable.”

Dawn Young, responsible for HR management at MGC, added: “Collaborating with Macromedia students was incredibly enriching. They have demonstrated that they possess not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that make a difference in the real business world.”
