Exchange and networking

Science means exchange and networking. Accordingly, Macromedia University maintains memberships in German-speaking and international professional and research associations. Academics from the university regularly take part in their conferences, and the university is also involved as a host and /or organiser.

Art Directors Club (ADC)

This professional association of art directors, founded within the advertising industry in New York in 1920, aims to promote quality in advertising and to encourage young talent. Germany launched its branch of ADC in 1964 in Düsseldorf. Now based in Berlin, Germany’s ADC represents its members‘ interests while also promoting creative achievements through publications, events, and training opportunities.

The Federal Association of Small Business – Entrepreneurs’ Association of Germany (German: Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft – Unternehmerverband Deutschlands e.V.) is the largest in Germany and represents the interests of small- to middle-sized companies across various professions and industries, independent of political affiliation. The BVMW currently has about 55,000 members.

CILECT

The International Centre for Film and Television (French: Centre International de Liaison des Écoles de Cinéma et de Télévision, or CILECT) is a film school association founded in 1954 in Cannes that promotes education for film, TV, and related media. The association includes over 180 institutions from 65 countries, with 9,000 staff members educating some 55,000 students annually.

The International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media is the only global association focused on art and design education. Founded in 1990, Cumulus provides a forum for partnerships and knowledge exchange with about 340 members from more than 60 countries.

Fachverband Kulturmanagement

The Association of Arts Management (German: Fachverband Kulturmanagement e.V.) is an association of academic arts management instructors and researchers in German-speaking countries. It aims to promote and represent the field of art management in both research and teaching.
