To be able to teach at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, professors must have proven themselves in both industry as well as academia. The appointment procedures of a university of applied sciences require proof of a doctorate or, in artistic subjects, of a performance equivalent to a doctorate, as well as proof of at least five years of successful industry experience.

It is not uncommon for members of the Macromedia faculty to pursue careers in the industry alongside their teaching activities. They hold management positions in agencies, media or production companies, and work as independent contractors. Get to know them here.
